Though the aging of skin can’t be halted, in many cases it can be slowed down. Recent biotech research has identified many of the factors that cause the wrinkling and loss of elasticity that come with age.   These factors include, damage from sun, cold, or wind, stress, smoking , fatigue poor nutrition, environmental irritants such as years of harsh makeup, soaps, or detergents. Over the years, these assaults on the skin lead it to show signs of aging.

It’s impossible to avoid coming into contact with many of these skin-devastating factors on a regular basis. Everyone has been exposed to the sun at some point. All of us have experienced stress and fatigue. While we can’t turn back the clock, we can begin to protect against further damage, and even rejuvenate skin that already has begun to age.? Through innovative cosmeceutical products.

How do these products work?

Tretinoin: A topical form of vitamin A that can be applied to the skin. The cream is used in a variety of capacities, one of which is as a wrinkle fighter. When applied to the skin, tretinoin activates certain triggers on the skin known as retinoid receptors, according to Smart Skincare. Examples of these receptors include those that control cell growth and the manufacture of proteins such as collagen and elastin, which are two fibers that give skin its elasticity. In addition to encouraging growth, tretinoin inhibits the production of an enzyme that breaks down collagen and elastin. Tretinoin is able to fight wrinkles by both building up proteins that fight wrinkles and inhibiting proteins that can cause wrinkling.

Hyaluronic acid:   a polysaccharide, which occurs naturally in the human body to help cushion and lubricate the joints. It’s found in connective tissue and eye fluids, however, almost fifty percent of hyaluronic acid found in the body is in the skin, making it a major component of skin tissue.

Hyaluronic acid is an active skin care ingredient as it retains moisture and creates a cushion to help plump the appearance of aging skin. As it absorbs without leaving any residue, it’s a popular ingredient in many products, like a hyaluronic acid mask or hyaluronic acid eye cream, and boasts incredible benefits. Skincare products on the market, such as hyaluronic acid serums not only plump and moisturize the skin, they also help to heal and sooth inflammation too. Furthermore, a pure hyaluronic acid serum can prevent fine lines and wrinkles, providing effective results on prematurely aged or mature skin types.

PALMITOYL PENTAPEPTIDE 3

Clinically proven to regenerate the skin's upper layers by stimulating collagen production, thus thickening the epidermis. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 is a synthetic protein that is a fragment of the C-terminal portion of collagen I (the most common type of the nineteen forms of collagen) combined with palmitic acid to make it more lipophillic, to improve its stability and to enhance its affinity towards human skin. One could look at Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 as a man-made precursor to collagen I.

Tripeptide-3 has been developed as an efficient smoothing and anti-wrinkle small peptide particularly effective against expression lines by relaxing facial muscles. This activetripeptidein a manner similar to Walglerin 1. Acting at the post-synaptic membrane,Tripeptidea reverible antagonist of the muscular nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (mnAChR).Tripeptideto the receptor; consequently it remains closed. In the closed state, sodium ions (Na+) are not released and the muscles stay relaxed. Clinical trials have shown thatTripeptidecapable of reducing expression lines/wrinkles by inhibiting muscle contractions.
